Peer Review Reflection

My partner gave great constructive feedback that will definitely help with the revision process. Specifically, my partner focused on the integration of quotes, and the specifics of my paper making sure I include why I used that quote, or why I thought this point was important to put into my piece. My partner also gave a lot of things she liked, which I appreciated, because I do think there needs to be a balance between criticism and things you thought the writer did well. She had a great balance and I appreciated both sides of her suggestions. 

My overall experience with peer review was excellent. I have done peer reviews in the past and it’s never been this in-depth before, we were never given this much time to give sincere feedback after reading the story multiple times. Anytime I’d do peer review, it would be really quick and you’d leave one or two thoughts. Now, this way of doing it is extremely helpful and I’m definitely going to take all her notes into consideration when I begin revising my piece.
